🐜 the bBuzz forge ⚙
the creation wing of the bBuzz studio — sound and sight, artist-first.
Describe what you want, the harness builds it, you see and hear it, then you fork it and make it yours.
⚙ everything the AI seat touches wears the gear badge; everything you forge from it is yours.
what it is
A forge for artists who want instruments, not presets. One loop drives both media:
describe → build → preview → iterate → fork. The sound side compiles real audio plugins
(CLAP, built on nih-plug); the sight side grows generative pieces from a seed. Nothing here is
locked: every template opens to its full source, and the whole estate is a public Rust-and-web
workspace you can read end to end.
the teaching promise
- No build without an explain block — the harness says what it chose and why, what each
knob does, and suggests one small thing to try. A teacher, not a vending machine.
- Practice loops — one change at a time, narrated: "you raised density — the lace
tightened." A bad change is a finding, not an error.
- Guidance that ends by pointing at the source — the lane succeeds when you outgrow it.
the fork law: every piece can be forked with one gesture — roll the seed,
copy the link — and the parent stays untouched, forever. The community's fork-tree is the gallery.
go play — the sight side (live on this fleet)
⬡ hexfield
a seeded hex lattice on Canvas — roll seeds, steer palette and symmetry, copy fork-links. The Tinker note on the page teaches the first edit.
CANVAS · SEED = SCORE
✳ orbit
seeded rose curves in SVG — petals, twist, layered light. Same law: same seed, same orbit, forever.
SVG · SEED = SCORE
👥 the two-tab room
multiplayer you can feel, zero servers: open two tabs, turn a knob in one, watch the field move in both. The CRDT seam the LiveKit huddle will plug into.
BROADCASTCHANNEL + YJS
📡 the huddle
the same room across machines — a real LiveKit venue, humans and bAiGenTs as ordinary participants, anywhere on Earth. Bring a venue URL + token (the runbook mints them for a local try).

the sound side
BuzzGain ⚙ — the forge's first audio template: drive → tape saturation → trim → a
hard-wired safety wrapper (soft-knee limiter, NaN/∞ silence, crash guard). Built as a real CLAP
plugin on our own box, host-validated (29/44, identical to the reference implementation), with
VST3 as a deliberate GPLv3-gated opt-in. The human ear-test in a DAW is the one receipt still
owed — that one's on a human with headphones.
